One year and 5513 photos later...

Its been just over one calendar year since I was able to get an SLR and I've shot a total of 5513 frames since April 19, 2008. Digital really helps overcome the technical hurdles of photography by sheer numbers: the technical aspects of how to use a camera (ISO settings, aperture, focal length, depth of focus, etc) have gotten easier, however, I feel like the next years challenge is going to be how to develop composition and how to create images that have a feel. I like telling stories and I would like my images to tell the stories visually. Photography has been a great outlet for me and I'm excited to head into year two.
